A progressive approach to learning to play the drums great for students and teachers alike to use in lessons.
REVIEW FROM 'DRUMMER' MAGAZINE NOVEMBER 2004:
Drummer and teacher Terry Dickinson has published a new book
entitled Drumkit Method.
With a very simple layout and two CDs to guide you around
the set and through many differing
musical genres, Dickinson has given this project a huge
amount of thought. Aimed primarily at beginners,
Dickinson covers notes and their values, learning to read
music, essential rudiments, matched and traditional grips,
Latin, Jazz, Rock, Funk and a whole heap more, including a
section on brush playing.
The simplicity of this book, coupled with the fact that
Dickinson has obviously bothered to note questions
asked by his students when compiling this work, make it all
